19th June, Madrid, Spain – UNIT 1, the creators of smart helmets and safety accessories for urban riders, has announced a strategic partnership with PUKY, Germany’s leading brand in children's mobility, to launch exclusive editions of its upcoming helmet model for kids, the Sparky Helmet, by PUKY.
Sparky marks UNIT 1’s first step into the children’s cycling category, and this partnership allows PUKY to offer co-branded editions in exclusive colours and graphics, tailored to their audience. The collaboration brings together UNIT 1’s expertise in smart urban safety design with PUKY’s 75+ years of legacy and reach in the German-speaking market.
The partnership will be launched at EUROBIKE 2025, where the first co-branded designs will be unveiled ahead of market release later this year. Sparky will be available exclusively through PUKY’s retail network.
Sparky introduces a playful approach to cycling safety, integrating visibility-focused features and rider-friendly design to encourage helmet adoption among young riders. The initiative is anchored in the shared belief that the best way to promote safety is by making it enjoyable, a concept formalised under the campaign “Let’s Make Safety Fun.”
